We found this very original 1986 Jeep Grand Wagoneer with zero rust in the Oregon desert and brought it home.
Once at our shop we did a full renovation on it.Since the Jeep came with factory paint and zero rust it was a very good base to start with. We had to repaint the Jeep since the clear coat on it was gone, so it has a very nice and new pantjob now!
All power windows work as does the tailgate window and a new glass window channel set has been installed for all windows. The 360ci V8 (5.9L) runs strong and the rebuild transmissions shifts as it should.
The converted (134A) A/C has been charged and it blows cold!
We’ve dry ice blasted the completely original engine bay and the result is very clean.
The (working) power seats are brand new and reupholstered with Napa leather combined with cloth inserts, the seats are complemented by a set of new seat belts.
We’ve also installed a new headliner with new interior lights. The carpet is nice and is partially new and partially factory, The dashboard is in very good condition as are the door panels.
We’ve given the Jeep a large overhaul and prepared it for a Dutch registration:
-rebuilt transmission and rebuilt transfer case
-new battery
-new (EU) halogen headlights
-4 new speakers
-new stabilizer bar rubbers
-new spark plugs and wires
-new motor oil and filter
-new air cleaner
-4 brand new white wall tires
-new brake hoses + brake work
-4 new leaf springs and shocks
-new fuel and temperature sending unit
-rebuild radiator
-rebuild carburetor
-new fuel pump
-new fuel lines and tank filler tube
-new fan clutch
It simply runs and drives great!
